Dr Alicia Faggella DVM DACVECC

Alicia attained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Iowa State University. She completed a residency in Anaesthesia and Critical Care and is Board Certified through the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care.

Alica was responsible for setting up Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre at Murdoch University in 2000. After this, she returned to the United States and was located in Portland, Oregon as the Critical Care Director of Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital. Alicia joined the staff at Balcatta Veterinary Hospital as Hospital Director in August 2010.

As an important part of her role at Balcatta Veterinary Hospital, Alicia is happy to provide other veterinary clinics with any support or advice needed for their patients on subjects related to emergency and critical care, analgesia and anaesthesia. She is also active in providing continuing education through seminars to veterinary clinic owners and their staff.
