WAVes Surgical Services - Dr Aaron Moles BVSc BSc (Vet) MACVSc (Small Animal Surg) DipECVS

Aaron attained his Bachelor in Veterinary Science from the University of Sydney in 1994. Since graduating he has owned and run a successful small animal clinic in Brisbane for the last 15 years. In 2005 he became a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Surgeons in small animal surgery. In 2010 he became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons after completing residency training at Murdoch University and the University of Florida. He is registered as a specialist in small animal surgery in both Australia and Europe. Aaron currently heads up the team at WAVeS (Western Australian Veterinary Specialists) Surgical Service.

WAVeS currently provide a mobile surgical referral service to all general practices within the greater Perth region. Although many elective procedures, such as routine orthopaedics, can be performed safely in a general practice setting, more complicated cases may require access to advanced anaesthesia equipment and critial care facilities. Balcatta Veterinary Hospital and WAVeS are able to combine their services to provide solutions for these more involved cases. With access to specialists in emergency and critical care and anaesthesia, and 24-hour round the clock monitoring, WAVeS can now offer an alternative referral service for thoracic, advanced abdominal, spinal and major reconstructive procedures utilising the facilities and staff of Balcatta Veterinary Hospital.
